Mick Dalla-Vee and John Graham are the Bowery Brothers. The Bowery Brothers are a professional song writing and music production team and they are very real. Their music is real. Their desire to write great songs is very real!
But what’s with the unusual origin story about them being twins separated at birth and reunited later in life. Touring with Dylan? Getting hit in the head with a shoe to dislodge John’s writers block. Is any of this true?

The contest is open to all ages. We are looking for both a male and female vocalist.
The contest is so simple even people like the Bowery Brothers can come up with it.

Contest runs from now until September 30, 2023. You can sing and record your performance using any song.
You can also use any of the Bowery Brothers songs. Towards the bottom of this page you will find all Bowery Brothers song without a lead vocal track. Please feel free to download them.
What do you do then? Create a quality phone video of you singing along with the song of your choice or one of the Bowery Brothers songs. “Think of it like Karaoke with a twist”.
Then you have a couple of options. 1) Upload the video to your YouTube and email us the link. 2) Send us the video file via WETRANSFER (click here) Wetransfer is a free file sharing service, easy. Send the video files to John@BoweryBrothers.com .
Then we take over. We then put your video on our YouTube channel and on the Bowery Brothers site. Once up we send you back the link and you can promote it to your friends, followers and family. Each view counts as 1 vote.

Some folks have asked us if this contest is real? If the Bowery Brothers are actually real? The answer is definitely YES!
So why do the Bowery brothers website have some “crazy stories and interviews”?
We are songwriters, and music producers by trade however we are also very much entertainers and marketers.
So, the purpose of the stories is to capture people attention and curiosity and to then get them to focus on the quality of the music.

There you will be working with Mick Dalla-Vee and John Graham (aka The Bowery Brothers) to record your vocal on 1 possibly 2 original songs.
Your new vocals on this new song will be released as the first single of the Bowery Brothers next album, entitled, “Force of Nature”, to be released late 2023/early 2024.
You will be given a publishing /writing credit for your contribution to the song!
Once recorded, the new single, featuring your vocals, will be released through the Bowery Brothers marketing machine.
There the song will reach over 40,000 music industry execs world-wide plus be featured on all of the Bowery Brothers web sites and social media platforms!
